About Cedar Crate Farm
Cedar Crate Farm grows a wide variety of fruits and vegetables using holistic, sustainable practices. We focus on growing varieties of produce that emphasize flavor. Our produce is available at the Mankato Farmers Market Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday beginning in early to mid June and through the end of the market in late October. Cedar Crate Farm is committed to selling the highest quality and best tasting produce around. While not USDA certified organic, sustainable practices are used in production.
Cedar Crate Farm is run by Dan and Lara Zimmerli. We are passionate about eating local food and supporting local businesses. We’re in our 8th season farming and we couldn’t be more excited about the work we’re doing! We think that the Mankato Farmers Market is one foundational pillar of supporting local food and businesses and an important part of the community.
