FlavorFest!

The Mankato Farmers Market and Mankato Clinic invites the entire community to the market on Tuesday, August 26, for FlavorFest!

Market vendors will be offering samples of their best produce at FlavorFest. What's more, there will be talks on how to preserve the harvest, how to get the kids to eat more veggies, and how to cook more healthful meals for the entire family. DJs from KTOE, KDOG and MN-93 will host the event. There will be games for the kids, and food available to eat, including fresh watermelon, fresh pork and fresh grilled corn on the cob.

The market will be open from 3:30 to 7 p.m. for FlavorFest. That's an extra hour to enjoy the outdoors, bring the family for dinner, and learn about how important it is to buy locally and eat fresher foods.
